Oh really? 380,000 signed up; 5,980,000 lost their plans. The lines at that clinic might be getting a little longer at that clinic come Jan 1.

I am very proud of my wife who volunteers when she can. She is giving away her valuable skills as an RN to help others who don't have the good fortune to be able to just go to the doctor as she can. People are treated with no judgement as to their status in the community, but only with concern as to their health needs. Excellent job Rotacare!

A friend sent me this article, knowing I've been a recent patient. The treatment I receive from Rotacare has been outstanding; even when I had insurance I did not receive the thorough and insightful care I have had from the Rotacare staff. Not only was I referred to a rheumatologist with over forty years of experience (and all the kind confidence you can expect from someone who's seen it all),I was offered counseling services to help me better cope with an unexpected and frightening debility during a period of unemployment when I let my insurance drop because I had other bills to pay. I plan to volunteer myself, when I'm well, as this is an institution I can stand behind with pride. Everyone there has treated me like a friend of the family since the day I came in shaking with pain and fear and worry that this "last resort" wouldn't be able to help me. The Rotocare clinic has the potential to be outstanding, but there are biases shown for spanish speaking people since most of the staff speak spanish. They will tell people like me not to walk in because we will not be seen. But if you speak Spanish they make exception. Sat in the waiting room and heard it myself. A sick person should been seen or not seen regardless of language.
