'Tis the season, already

Is it really time to run our annual holiday story? The candle-lighting and hall-decking and jingling seem to be starting up awfully quickly this year. We've got the November holiday happenings in the Midpeninsula, and another round-up with many more festive events happening in December will run in next week's issue.

Don't forget the Mountain View Senior Center's Holiday Bazaar on November 23, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.! This free community event will feature 45 senior citizen vendors selling handmade crafts, live entertainment, a free raffle, DIY ornament table, ornament contest, and more.

Why do we care about the Palo Alto tree lighting? The Mountain View tree lighting is December 9.
