Pumpkin Patch in old Safeway Parking Lot

Is anyone else highly amused that the temporary pumpkin patch is taking place on the part of the old Safeway lot that all of us who used to park there for Safeway shopping know that this floods whenever there is rain?

I wonder if the same spot will be used for Christmas trees?

If it rains, this is where the water floods and those of us past experienced shoppers knew not to park there in the rain.

Then again, it may not rain until after Christmas.
