Mora Drive housing project waits on toxic cleanup

Lingering toxic chemicals in the groundwater and soil under 2274 Mora Drive is being blamed for the delay of the development of as many as 250 homes on a 10-acre site.

While we are usually proud of our long history of high-tech businesses in Mountain View, sometimes that history has left us unpleasant reminders of the past. At least today's companies should leave fewer nasty surprises for future generations.
