Weak start, strong finish

My first impression of the Terrone pizzeria-ristorante-bar was awful. On that initial visit, I ordered the farro calamari ($12) with green onions, bell pepper and parsley, on crostini. The large portion was void of flavor and too dry, and while the toasted baguette added crunch, it didn't add much else. To give it some pop, I squeezed the lemon from my ice tea over the salad.

I'm a big fan of Terrone. Their pizzas cannot be beat. Just a note to the reviewer, Mr. Bentson - Quatro Stagioni pizzas are supposed to have their toppings distributed like that (in approximate quarters). This is the classic "Four Seasons" Italian pizza. A quick Internet search will show you many pictures of this type of pizza where that is the case. I had one of these just the other day, and have before, and am happy to report mine never suffered from puddles of juice.
