Obon Festival is one of the really great events in MV. I love going for the food, social exchanges and especially for the Obon dance on the final evening. I remember how delighted I was the 1st year I attended and the dance was an unexpected bonus... so beautiful it brought tears streaming down my face.
If you have never been to Obon do yourself a favor and make the effort.

nice festival. I just wish the police had does his job (there were parked at the festival after all) and remove the cars that were parked on the bike lane.
