The entire staff at Little Acorn has never been anything but professional and caring. As a parent iI have always felt ( and continue to feel) comfortable with their care. I hope people don't fall into the sensational trap that can be created in situations like this.

I too have only good things to say about the staff at Little Acorn. I hope that this turns out to be an unfortunate misunderstanding--both for the child and his or her family and the school.

I have lived in the Mtn View city for many years. I have been to the YMCA for so long, as well. Two of my kids were born at the El Camino Hospital. I know several staff at the Little Acorn day care center; I go to the same church with some of the staff. All these staff are super professional, know what they're doing - caring well for the children with respect & for their safety. I believe that none of the staff have no intention to jeapardize the well being of any of the children or staff at this center. I hope this will be resolved soon & may all parties involved be back to a normal life.

EGADS... what the heck is wrong with the staff at "The Voice"....

You do irreparable harm to the Little Acorn School by resleasing this info.... Until there is an arrest there is NO REASON to blacken the image of the school and of its staff...Now each teacher/care person at that school is under suspicion....
Thanks for living up to the image of Journalism that permeates that field of "information" to the public.

You really screwed this one up

@ George: You think they screwed 'this one' up? This must be the first time you've read MV Voice online.

Most irresponsible reporting EVER!

Like people wouldn't be complaining if they didn't report on it. IMHO, it would be irresponsible NOT to. Seems to me like they just reported the facts. I don't find the headline to be sensationalistic or the article to be inaccurate. FWIW, the story has been reported in the Merc, NBC11 and other places as well. I too hope that it's nothing more than a misunderstanding and that it doesn't unnecessarily damage Little Acorn's reputation but I am glad it's being investigated AND reported.

Careful, protecting adults and prioritizing adults above children is how the Catholic church made their mistake with handling child abuse. The reporting seems clear and it sticks to the facts. Thank you, MV Voice.

What was the outcome of the investigation? Were criminal charges pursued?
