is running over fire hydrants a new fad in Mountain View

MVPD reports that 4 fire hydrants have been knocked over in Mountain View in recent days. Are drivers in the city that bad? Or are deranged people doing this intentionally? Come on folks, killing a fire hydrant not only causes a huge mess in the street but it also puts fire fighter lives at risk.
