A good vantage point to view the fireworks up close with no crowds or traffic is C----------s.

I enjoyed the fireworks as I do every year, though for some reason they didn't start until around 10:00pm this time, 10-20 minutes after the parking lot lights were dimmed for the show. Usually the bangs & booms begin right after lights-out.

I feel sorry for the medium-size dog that shot by us in absolute terror once the show started. I hope he gets back to his irresponsible owners. A fireworks display is no place for any pet, even if left in the car.

It was a gorgeous nite. We biked the trail out to shoreline and setup camp. I feel bad for all those stuck in traffic that night! The fireworks started much much later than other displays we could see around the bay. Nice show...but did anyone think it was short? Seemed like ten minutes...
