School district to film, stream meetings

With the board of trustees' informal blessing, officials with the Mountain View Whisman School District have begun taking steps toward establishing a system for video recording and live streaming all board meetings.

It's a shame they didn't utilize KMVT for this. "Free" can sometimes be more expensive than having it professionally done.

They could have KMVT simulcast it to their channel and the google+ hangout. It will be great to get the hangout stream later if one misses the meeting live. It would be great if they take some questions/comments from those online.

Um Tina...City Council does broadcast and stream their meetings.
