The graphics say "from the corner of..." but aren't they OF the corner of.....?

What would be helpful is a photo of the location as it looks currently, so readers could get a full understanding of the before and after.

Also, the graphics submitted by developers typically leave out inconvenient details such as street lights, traffic signals, surrounding buildings, etc.

The City Council bends over yet again, or is it that they never got up, what with all the multi-family developments lining El Camino and infiltrating what areas Planning has designated for them...I recently strolled downtown and what a dump...really...there is no character to it at all...just rows of restaurants...well, a few could be called restaurants. It is the most unattractive downtown in the Bay Area...for shame!

Staff is technically not lying, since buildings just sit there motionless. But the employees and visitors of the 67,772 sq ft building will make quite a traffic problem, jockeying for one of those 153 parking spots.
Don't worry, neighbors. A traffic study will be done AFTER it's built.

No worries, traffic is only a problem if the building owner supports traditional families

I would prefer to see the site used as retail but an office building is a second choice. Anything but more multi-family rental units. Yes, the City Council remains as puppets for the developers. It would be more efficient to just elect developers to the City Council. Only one problem they don’t live in Mountain View. They prefer to live in less densely populated areas.

At least they aren't going to approve a drive-thru that will cause pollution with all of the cars sitting idle, waiting for homophobic chicken sandwiches.

Seems that a low profile residential building would be more suitable for a property adjacent to homes. We have enough office buildings downtown.

How about making Dana a one-way street.

I don't think we have such a bad downtown, we have lots of places to eat, yes they aren't perfect but the choice is good. Not much retail, we just aren't that upscale, we aren't Palo Alto or Los Altos.

Yes offices are a good fit, we have people that like to live, work and you can play in downtown. You never know people want to see more retail, we can't decide retail trends. It has never worked.

I would imagine that on the weekends the office building will mostly be empty. The parking garage entrance should be on Bryant St.

I think the building should be required to have enough parking for it's own use, the is to pay the city znd not buld enough parking. I also think the building is dull, we need something with more style.

Who counted the parking space needed for the new lot near Safeway? No one can use the Safeway Roof parking except Safeway, thus leaving all the street level stores without adequate parking spaces.

Will you, and everyone reading this that is fed up with our neighborhoods being crowded out by high density intruders, please come out this Monday (July 15, 2013) at 6:30 PM to Rose Market on Castro Street.
