Should ask Nona for stories about Barry Bonds, who used to visit the store when it was at the corner of El Camino and San Antonio.

Haven't been to the store in ages, but used to love going there every week.

I remember seeing Steve Young renting laser discs the night before football games back in the 1980s, when the store was on Alma Street in Palo Alto. He said that war movies inspired him.

I'm surprised the business lasted so long. Really hard to make a profit with competition from Netflix and the soaring rents around here.

Hated Blockbuster, didn't ever set foot in a Hollywood Video, as for Netflix don't really bother. Love finding movies that are forgotten, weird or just different. Will miss places like the old neighborhood video store, something about finding a 70's cheseey film.

Videoscope will always be with us. Nona and Odon (and Erica) have so many scintillating stories to tell and they OUTLASTED Hollywood and Video Library (wait, what was that other place called?)
