When the younger man returned to his car he became angry...
I assume this is referring to the 53-year-old Palo-Altan?

This is a beautiful story. So romantic! Just imagine being fought over by Two studs like that. *swoon*

No woman, especially an ex is worth fighting over.

This is a better romantic story than all 3 Twilight movies combined.

Oh brother! adolescent 50-somethings who still think it's macho to fight over a woman as if she "belonged" to either of them???

What a crock!

Please someone explain to me how we can fix the male brain.

Oh Katydid41: Think of the woman who is attracted to either of these two men.

That's where the fixing needs to happen. If this kind of behavior didn't attract ladies, men wouldn't do it.

God I wish that gas station would release video of this event. You should see the loonies who hang out at ECR and Grant Road at 1 in the morning.

I think the 24 hour Walgreens attracts all the crazies being released by the area's emergency rooms.

I see no fault whatsoever with either of the men or with the woman in this story. If you are male and you would not fight over your woman, then you are a coward. You are not a man at all; you are a BOY. If it weren't for your fat nerd wallet, no woman would have anything to do with you.

The order in human society is created by males using deadly force to establish control over territory. From a male perspective, the females are indeed possessions. This is a natural and inevitable consequence of the physiology of copulation and reproduction; social scientists call it "sperm competition".

Modern, urban society has codified and institutionalized the social order with so many levels of indirect violent force that the basic reality is no longer plainly visible. But it is still the reality beneath the "civilized" charade. IOW, it is still, and always will be, "a man's world". A few men and women understand this. Most are clueless and will live their entire lives without ever comprehending their true situation.

This is one banjo short of a country music song.
