Most undocumented immigrants would prefer to live in their home countries with their families. However, U.S. policies and agreements, such as NAFTA which sent cheap corn to Mexico and threw millions of Mexican farmers and businesspeople out of work, forced them to look for work elsewhere to support their families.
As a Mountain View resident, I'm proud that this movement was initiated here. Immigrants have always strengthened our country and deserve our support. Congratulations and thanks to Maria Marroquin and the others who showed such leadership in this effort!

Real progress can be achieved only by promoting Truth. These 11 million people are not immigrants. They are colonists. They are invaders. This is not an issue of justice. It is an issue of sovereignty. It is an issue of vigilance. It is an issue of the dumbing of America.
What is outrageous is not that these people still live within the United States in fear of deportation. The outrageous thing is that 11 million colonists have accumulated within our borders and have not yet all been expelled.
The high moral character of the vast majority of these people creates the potential for a WIN-WIN solution. But I am a "hard liner" on this. The citizens of the United States must seal the border with military force and make it perfectly clear that "we the people" control this territory and that those who are here illegally have neither the legal nor the moral right to be here. Then "we the people" must offer those here illegally a WIN-WIN choice: Become true immigrants, speak English, assimilate, and embrace both the vision and the cultural history of the United States, or leave.
There are important differences between an immigrant, a migrant worker, and a colonist / invader. An immigrant accepts an invitation to become one of us. A migrant worker lives and works with us as an invited guest. Colonists / invaders come without our permission and create a community apart and their allegiance remains with their home country or with their colony here.

I would just like to thank the MV Voice for reinstating the previous post, which had previously been deleted by the censor as "inappropriate."
JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE DOES NOT DRINK THE "PC" LIBERAL KOOLAID DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEIR THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS ARE INAPPROPRIATE. IT MEANS THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE ON AN ISSUE. THAT'S WHAT MAKES FOR A FREE PRESS.
Thank you MV Voice for recognizing this.
