Immigration march draws 600

Over 600 people called for immigration reform during a march and rally on Wednesday evening, one of the city's largest demonstrations in recent memory.

Another episode in the "dumbing of America"...

"They" would have you believe that families are being ripped apart by the deportations of adults who have crossed the border illegally into the United States.

But another, IMO more honest, way to look at the situation is to note that the United States gives these families the option of remaining together by returning AS A FAMILY to their country of origin, e.g. Mexico. The breaking up of these families is a voluntary decision by the parents, who opt to do this so that the children, who have a right to stay in the U.S., can capture the benefits of doing so.

Some of those deported are married men who will go back to their families. In those cases, deportation means family reunification.
