Can't wait for the Charleston stop light. Currently bicyclists are required to ride a long narrow sidewalk to get to and from the next legal crossing and this gets really congested on weekdays.

I think this is exciting! The city moves like a snail on some things...for example in the existing trail that is next to crittenden school now there has been a tree down blocking the path and pushing the fence into the creek since january. I talked to a city worker about this and pointed it out in february. They started to work on it for a day in march, but haven't touched it since. is this going to take 2 years to fix?

This is good news. A better trail means more bicyclists. This is better for everyone, including motorists and anyone who breathes the air, as cars are taken off the road.

I'm glad they're paying attention to this trail. The crossing at Charleston will be nice. Currently I right-turn onto Charleston and U-turn at Alta, which means merging into some busy traffic. But I'm looking forward even more to the extension, so I hope the Middlefield leg isn't delayed too much. I'd love the trail to go all the way downtown even.
