Historic Pearson house demolished

After years of abandonment and several attempts to save it, the 130-year-old home of early Mountain View businessman Charles Pearson has been turned into rubble in order to make room for an office building.

Was sad to see the Pearson House demolished.It had important historical
value.
I am very glad to see Immigrant House moved and eagerly await a decision
on its placement.I think it would be a great asset in a community garden/pumpkin patch type setting.
For those that didn't make the parade it was a very good time and we all had fun.I hope to see the community have more events like this.
A float of a replica of Immigrant House was really fantastic with
wonderful touches and an enthusiastic crowd.
