Students help direct 'Romeo and Juliet'

The Mountain View High School Theatre Department is presenting "Romeo and Juliet," Shakespeare's famous tragedy for [Web Link this year's spring production].

The play also adds a slight twist to the classic rendition. "The play will bring a more modern style to a traditional story" said Koppel. "For instance, Tybalt and Mercutio have their big fight over a stolen laptop in the parking lot of Safeway. Also, Juliet dies when she is hit by a car driven by a road-raging Romeo."

Billiam, why did you just post a spoiler and reveal the surprising ending to the story? Thank you for just making it a lot less fun for those of us who made the mistake of reading this webpage.

Saw this wonderful production last night and now I see that Billiam was just making a joke. My apologies.
