Military families talk toxic contamination with EPA

Military families living on and around a toxic groundwater plume at Moffett Field aired their concerns Monday about toxic vapors entering their homes and brown water that continues to run out of their faucets.

We have the same concerns about the schools and daycare our children attend. It was nice to be considered by the EPA for once as concerned residents rather than just military families who don't seem to care much.

The requirements of Prop 65 (to report that carcinogens are present) probably doesn't apply to federal facilities since state law is trumped by the feds.
