County asks residents, firms to save energy today

Energy officials want residents and business owners to cut down on electricity use today, after several San Jose Pacific Gas & Electric transformers were damaged by vandals early in the morning and the California Independent Service Operator issued a "Flex Alert" for Silicon Valley.

Does this apply to Google as well or just to Mountain View residents?
