This was a news item that I found today. I think that Mayor Inks should repect the majority of people is is supposed to represent and sign the pledge that all the other mayors did regarding gun violence. the mayor of Sunnyvale went one step further. Kudos to him...

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America
CALIFORNIA TOWN STANDS UP TO THE NRA: In the wake of Sandy Hook, Sunnyvale Mayor Tony Spitaleri championed a measure requiring gun owners to report a gun theft within 48 hours, lock up their guns when not in use, and dispose of magazines of more than 10 rounds. In addition, gun dealers have to keep a log of ammunition sales. This week, the NRA served notice that it will go to court to block the measure, which passed with 66% of the vote: Web Link

“We cannot afford to back down. We cannot lose any more children. We cannot have any more children taking weapons to school and hurting other children. It has to stop,” said Spitaleri.
