Early Childhood

For Campers who are 4 years & 9 months through 6 years old, at the time of their camp session.

Our Early Childhood camps model the gentle rhythm of our kindergartens that so lovingly nourish the child's developing coordination, cooperation, and creativity. Each day will be a calm and joyful journey through imaginative play, circle games, songs, and stories.

Young friends will enjoy a weekly focus for each camp such as crafting,
cooking, gardening, building and caring for animal visitors.

Each day concludes outdoors in the beautiful summer sun with water play. A morning snack is provided.

2013 Themes: Gardening, Cooking, Sandcastles and Nature Crafts.

Grades

For Campers who are 7 years old through entering grade 6.

Grades camps are offered by talented and passionate specialists who bring a colorful menu of music, visual and performing arts, and movement experiences to share with our older children.

These camps will model the daily rhythm of Waldorf grades education with a sustained morning period of focused activity, followed by an "out breath" of relaxed free play and fun in the summer sun. We conclude our day with one or more shorter periods of activity and project work related to the weekly theme.

2013 Themes: Circus, Drumming, Yoga, Drama and Art.
