Safe(r) routes to school! Need to make all schools safer and easier to access by bike. Much easier to do during major renovation, rather than an afterthought.
And real food for lunch.. one can always wish.

The two scheduled meetings (at each school) will focus more on the school/student issues (tomorrow evening) and then more focus on the community issues next week. Safe routes to schools/paying fields/large gyms could be a facet of both meetings. Under state education code, the district is able to purchase easements and improve land and routes immediately adjacent to schools for ease of access (Ed Code 17569 17570).
