Shirakawa is a thief, a liar and a crook. He should NEVER again hold an elected or appointed office. He has shown that he has the ethics of a pimp and he lies like a rug.

... I'm sorry if the comparison insulted any pimps or rugs ...

Some think that with the digital age newspapers should die. Without the Metro doing investigative journalism, this wouldn't ever have been detected.

This is probably just the tip of the iceburg, didn't he hire a body gaurd on taxpayers dime, his friend. No shame. He will probably get a slap on the wrist and go back to his old ways. The Unions will see to that.
How come all the traveling expenses are small except for Kniss, whose traveling costs are 25k. How does she travel, by private jet?

The real problem is the Board monitors itself. We all know how well that works.
They will only do something if enough people are paying attention. Otherwise they will let is slide since Shirakawa is one of them.

"auditors noted that Kniss, whose district includes Mountain View, "inadvertently charged personal expenses" to the county of $569 and $150 for a political fundraiser - not allowed under county regulations"
Ummm... so Kniss also broke the rules? Where does the "4 out of 5" come from?
Whenever I get caught breaking the rules, it's always "inadvertently".
