Earlier witness statements said that Pumar was driving at twice the speed limit before he ran the red light. Did that come out in court today?

If this " incident " ( I won't use the other word ) goes to trial, the prosecution may have to call in a physics professional to gauge the impact point and how far the body was thrown. My guess is that the foot is close to the place of impact and how far the body was thrown can give a more accurate assessment of the speed of the car on impact.
( In racing circles, I have had seen too many of these types of death by impact. They often leave body parts in this manner )

That crew working on the signal lights needs to be talked to. They might have a part in this whole thing.
If the light was red, why was the utlity van still in the intersection? Maybe they ran the red light too?
Was it a city owned utilty crew or one of those contractors who changed lights for us?
