Immigration reform activist Jose Antonio Vargas spoke at to a near-capacity crowd at Los Altos High School last weekend, advocating for swift, comprehensive and fair changes to current U.S. immigration policies.

Vargas just wants it all. He should go back to the Phillippines and help his country pull itself up. Oh wait, that might be too hard for him to do emotionally. He'd rather tell us all how legal citizens should think.

From my perspective Pat Hyland, Rich Fischer and others were paid by the school district to treat ALL students fairly. To bend so many rules, and help break laws for one student when enforcing other school rules on other students seems to be unfair and breaks the spirit of what those administrators were paid to do. Why should one student be given so much when that student should not have any benefits from MVLA. In addition what does sexual preference have to do with any of this?
