It's painful to admit this truth, but Nick wrote a pretty accurate assessment of my error. So, A PUBLIC APOLOGY to both Kevin and the Measure G committee. I had two good chances to recheck 'my memory' with Kevin before I sent in the copy (one a phone conversation about August) and I failed to do so. Mea culpa.
Private apologies were mailed the other day.
I re-read a posting I'd done after the June election - my memory had expanded some vague comments Kevin and I had shared on Simidian and his HSR no vote - into something that Kevin did not discuss (retracting his G endorsement).
