Voter Guide: Measure M would limit top El Camino salaries

The CEO and many upper management officials working for El Camino Hospital could see their paychecks greatly reduced this November if voters approve a measure to cap compensation at the local health care organization.

Can someone educate me about the difference between the hospital district and the hospital corporation? Doesn't the district own the corporation?

@Taxpayer: A key difference is which pots of money each board oversees. The hospital corporation board runs the hospital. The district board deals solely with the tax revenue from the district's residents, doling it out to various community health programs and organizations.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels...more than just a good movie. Oh don't forget about those overpaid, bonused Managers that send the help that Patients need to make sure they meet their budget/bonus goals.
