Since I live and work in Mountain View, I thankfully don't need to take a train every day.
But for the times when I am meeting someone in SF (like tonight), I really appreciate being able to take a train there, and read a book or work on my laptop or peoplewatch or talk (quietly) on my phone, rather than sit in traffic.
And for those times, I am grateful for all the commuters who keep the train in business.
Thanks, 50k daily riders! :)

I wish they'd add a late night train from SJ going north on the weekends, instead of the final train of the night leaving at 10:30. It would be nice to spend the night on the town and not have to rely on a designated driver or a $50 cab ride.

Similar to James, I wish they'd add a late night train from SF going south on weekends. The midnight train doesn't work for many people attending shows or concerts in SF.
I also wish they'd consider a "family package" on weekends. A lot of families (and especially their kids) would love to take the train up to SF. But for a family of 4-5, the cost of the train plus taxi/bus in SF is more than driving plus parking. As a proposal, if the cost of a round-trip ticket for an adult is $14, why not offer a weekend family pass for something like $35?
