It was very exciting to be at NASA Ames Research Center at Moffett Field Sunday nigh to watch the historic landing of the Mars rover Curiosity. I had previously attended the landings of Spirit and opportunity. We are very lucky to live where science is alive and well at NASA, SETI Institute, SLAC, Stanford, and many more.

Mr. Worldallwrong, I agree people should not go hungry or lack shelter in this country or anywhere in the world and the government could and should guarantee these fundimental rights. For some perspective on the cost of Curiosity, the $2.5 Billion which is the price of a movie for everyone in the US is spent right here in the US and ultimately to buy goods and services in the community, putting money is peoples pockets all over the US. The social safety net programs not including social security or medicare are about 13.0% of the US budget. NASA's total budget ($17.0 Billion) is 0.5% of the federal budget.

James your math figures are all wrong, they need to budget more $ on 420
distribution. And furthermore and so on and soforth I propose a smoke for all Americans who can dig it.
