We are finally getting rid of most of the current city council!

What? We're definitely getting rid of 2 of the 7. We're possibly getting rid of 4 of the 7 but history shows that isn't likely.

Losing Professor Means hurts because we need someone with his economic perspective rather than pie-in-the-sky mentality.

I like INKS, NEAL and CLARK because they're real, creative, problem solvers who are down-to-earth and actually think about the small business owners sho live and work in this community!

Jim Neal definitely has my vote.

I doubt that I will be spending anywhere near 21k and I hope that you will be open minded enough to review the information about all the candidates before you vote for your dog. I am by no means a rich person, nor do I come from money. I have had to work very hard for everything I have, and from a material standpoint, it's not much.

I am running because I want to make a difference. City Council doesn't pay enough for anyone to want to do it for the money. I hope that you will give me the opportunity to earn your trust and your vote. Inks , Clark and Neal will get my vote. About time we had some common sense on this crazy council

Things to mention to the present and future council members and to the people that will be voting on them. Hot topic is growth, remember growth will maintain our tax base, add much needed office space and a housing. Businesses will come in and set up shop, they are looking for customers. Tax base growth is just as important as raising taxes. Parks, Police, Fire and other city services, this is important for all residents, workers and visitors, we have a clean well run city, maintain and up keep the city. It will go along way. School the city doesn't have anything to do with the schools but keep a good well maintain and excellent school system. While all this is going on remember costs will go up, just living here is one of the most pricey plans to live, to have high standards you have to pay for it. Keep costs and spending in check, but also look for ways to add income.

I will NOT be voting for Chris Clark or Chairman Mao for city council. We've got Kaspersnak already...so why would we need more of the same?

This man's got my attention.

McAlister and Inks will get our votes. We need people who have resided in the city long enough to know the neighborhoods, issues and concerns of residents. The history has revealed too many City Council candidates who simply want to use the position as a stepping stone to the political job.

The election will go to the whoever the developers and public employee unions back.

The deteriorating neighborhoods and taxpayers get the bill.

Bob, I hope that you will consider me as well. I am not going to be using this position as a stepping stone for any higher office. I am very concerned about the City of Mountain View. That is why when employers have asked me to move to be closer to my job, I have said 'no'. All my friends live here and my life is here. I may only have been here 7 years so far, but this is my home and that won't be changing anytime soon. I make the same offer to you that I mad to Otto, let's get together for a cup of coffee sometime. I'd love to have the opportunity to change your mind.
