Pretty interesting Board members for the new ECH structured advisory committees. Most obvious is the high level Silicon Vally/Financial titles associated with all of the members. Potentially this might be great OR, may jeopardize the financial situation and/or quality of the hosptial. I see very few partipating members other than physicians for quality. Shameful that the hopsital has placed absolutely NO Registered Nurse on the Quality committe unless the RN title has been somehow forgotten. So much for the long term reputation for fine nursing care at the hopsital. It appears to be meaningless to have the MAGNET designation of nursing excellence. For that matter, I would be of the opinion that having no RN participation will severely affect patient outcomes.
