There is one huge problem with so many apartments. History has shown us that apartments do not generate children. Therefore, if you wish to develop a City full of apartments, very soon it will be like San Francisco. SF has the lowest number of children per square mile in the whole Bay area.

Apartments are not the problem with S.F. lack of kids. The schools, us vs them, homeless, housing costs, parking, MUNI, and etc. A mix of ownership, family style rentals with private and public spaces for kids of all ages

Hi! The Northpark Apartments, if I am not mistaken is in N Rengstorff Ave, is now available for leasing. The prices starts at $2,224 for studio, about $3,000.00 or so for a single room and about $4,00.00 for a two bedroom unit. My figures are not so accurate but I believe they are close.
If I am correct and my recollection is right,I remember clearly that the former housing complex was sold to the Mountain View Government for a very reasonable low price with the agreement thatit will provide housing for the less fortunate very low income families#poor people. The owner aand the Mountain View government agreed on to this and was publish on paper, thus making it publicly binding. Now the price to lease a place is exuberantly luxurious in contrast to purpose of the agreement. I must say it is a slap to people like me who dream of having a decent home to live in. It only separate us even more from the "haves". It's a breach of contract and a breach to human dreams and aspirations.
