Dittmer's set to reopen

Original post made on Jun 1, 2012

Didn't any of you hear the latest scientific news that all red meat is bad for you?

And don't get me started on the sausage thing if you have to ask what's in it.

And then there's all those nitrates behind the deli counter.

Great news, hopefully Dittmer's will include tables and chairs so people can sit and enjoy their lunch. Glad they have a larger space in which they can operate!

Our family cannot wait to enjoy delicious German sausages again!!! Wonderful news, and since this is Los Altos, we should have a Biergarten in this location, since Mountain View is not issuing that permit in downtown.

re: "in other food-related retail news.."
Sprouts is coming to the corner of El Camino & San Antonio;
Safeway will have a mega-store on another corner of El Camino & San Antonio;
Milk Pail Market is already located in the San Antonio Shopping Center;
Trader Joe's is also already located in the San Antonio Shopping Center.

Why so many grocery stores in one corner of Mtn. View?????!!!!!!!!

Why can't the MV City Council be a 'friend' to the stores that were there first?? My business STILL be at Trader Joe's and Milkpail (yes, in that order!)

Rasputin was on the northwest corner, not northeast. And the southwest corner is in Los Altos, not Mountain View.

re: in other food-related retail news

Not more poor planning, an over abundant of these larger store will knock out the small independent shops. May be we should of put in the Home Depot
