where is rod diridon in all of this? this is a ton of money going towards companies such as VTA. the VTA has a whole lot of improving to do for itself as a public transportation company. also, how about the high cost of gas?

Another old political hack gets a $500K to run the train to no where.
Or until the money runs out.
Then the political class will create another money pit to cash in on.

These people have no shame.
This scam ought to be shut down STAT.

This looks like rearranging of the deck chairs on the Titanic.
While people are being appointed leadership positions, the fundamental aspects of this mega project have yet to be finalized:
1. How is this going to be funded?
2. What does the final design look like, and has it been reviewed and approved by all stakeholders?
3. What is the project schedule from start to finish, and what are the important milestones?
These are arguably more important questions to get answered, rather than who's in the captain's chair.

Truly "Capitalizing on the positive momentum that has built up over the last several months" would require shutting down this fiasco, and returning the unused tax money (if any!)

It looks like Parsons Brinckerhoff made the decision on this appointment,
and they don't care how it looks.
