I live in this neighborhood. We don't have a name and would like one. The mix of Hispanic and Caucasian with a flavor of Pacific, is a good mix. We're middle class with a touch of lower economic backgrounds. We like our neighborhood. Apartment dwellers and condo owners.

We're not 'high end'. We don't usually work for google. While I agree that a hotel might be good for Mt. View, I can't help but believe that it will destroy this hood. We're used to high traffic on San Antonio, but California borders on condo's and apartments. A line of trees along California to break up a nine story office complex just dosen't cut it. and a pass through to what - Walmart? We had high end restrurants in this area before and that mall has been replaced by condos.

We're not Palo Alto and don't want to become another "Whisky Gulch" which was destroyed by a hotel and office complex. Please don't do this.
