Not clear on the concept

"James acknowledges that shouted obscenities at the police, but"
There are no "buts". You already passed the "idiot" stage and are well on your way to "getting busted" stage.

It is interesting that drunks and their hangers-on always cry police brutality when they are caught-up in the mob hysteria. Drunks' perception of reality is always significantly distorted. After behaving badly, they try to escape punishment due them by supporting one anothers' lies. If only there were some way for drunks to be on the front line as police officers responding to drunks, then they would then appreciate the danger, seriousness and restraint of the police officers. Simple answer, don't drink if you can't behave as a respectful and responsible adult. You need to be thankful we have men and women who have the courage and dedication to be police officers.

Funny, nothing even remotely comparable to this nonsense ever happens at medical marijuana dispensaries. At recreational alcohol dispensaries, this sort of behavior is quite common. With that two-day "rave" going on at Shoreline, this could be an interesting weekend in Mountain View.

"At the height of the melee, officers estimated that about 200 people were engaged with or watching multiple fights in the parking lot behind Zen, in the breezeway leading to Castro Street and out in front of the club."
What a horrifying image. Aren't we fortunate to have brave people who join the police department to deal with this side of humanity. Thank you MVPD...again.

I think it is great how the all of the surrounding police departments added support. Every time a stun gun, Taser, or pepper spray is used the bad guys cry foul. Police use these instead of handguns when people are acting bad as was the case here.
