The Voice needs to call the nearby Ritz carltons, the wineries and check if they are seeing an increase in demand. If they are not seeing a demand, then this could be a case of peoepl cutting down on wedding expenses and not a sign of boom.

It is great to see the RHouse busy! It has really grown into its own maturity and the gardens are fantastic. It is a very peaceful place. How nice that there is a "reasonable" wedding venue.

Just don't schedule a wedding during low tide on a hot day.

I noticed that the City usage fee for the Adobe building (30's Mission style) has gone up enough to discourage the Rotary from always meeting there. Does R House have a fee schedule that is 'more resident' friendly? Most of the Parks and Rec. Dept. fees for kids classes have a 'resident discount'. I hope, at $200 per hour, there is some MV resident discount on this wedding venue! (at least 10%)
Kudos for the P&R court usage fees for the Cuesta Park Tennis Courts. These used to be never collected from non-residents (you never got asked). Now you are always asked and have to show 'proof of residence' to get the free usage.
