Who keeps 40 large at home in a 'small safe' that can be accessed via a window? What were they thinking?

They deserve to lose every cent of it. They are obviously too dense to be trusted with such $$.

@John the man, Yeah really i get nervous having $2500 around for a couple days and i live in a really nice complex- Ednamary is ghetto. Just cause you have a safe, doesn't mean your money is! Duh

(portion removed, terms of use.) my friends apartment was robbed in milpitis and his mom had about the same amount in a shoe box...he said in his culture many older people do it. needless to say the robbers found her stash as well.

banks are insured up to 250,000 so until you get more then that deposit that money!
