Original post made on Feb 23, 2012

Another example of the complete lack of concern by the Council for real small businesses, the ones that have real, intractable problems caused by real world events.

No one seems to have any problems about leaving the Mora Drive businesses alone, so why the push to kill their businesses?

I say, leave them as they are, where they are - and I have no connection whatever with any of them.

The city should be supporting small businesses not chasing them off in the name of developer profits. Shame on you Mountain View! And you can't offer them an alternative place to do business. Ridiculous!

Mountain View is being sold out to corporations like Google, property developers eager to capitalize on the rental market, and a City Council running Nanny State agenda. And let's not forget the crushing debt the city inherits each year with the public employees that are robbing us blind with bloated retirement packages. Individual entrepreneurial spirit and freedoms are being crushed. Read back on some of the articles in the last several years, people. You can't make this stuff up.
