Four-track design back in high-speed rail plan

A new analysis by the California High-Speed Rail Authority calling for a four-track rail system between the Bay Area and Central Valley has set off a fresh wave of criticism from Palo Alto and surrounding cities, with many calling the latest document a betrayal of the authority's earlier promises.

The HSR Authority is an example of government at its worst. First they send out
a press release in favor of a blended 2-track system then they publish
a legal document supporting a 4-track, highly disruptive system.

Can you imagine Alma as a one-lane road? It needs to be widened not
Reduced!!

The 'Authority' needs to be closed down ASAP and no more
of our tax dollars should be wasted on this boondoggle.

Anyone know how I can find one of those "no HSR" petitions? I'm ready to sign something that can begin the process of pulling the plug on this fiasco.
