SOPA and PROTECT-IP are absolutely HORRIBLE pieces of legislation, and have "legs" only because Hollywood has poured massive amounts into their campaign to pass them.
They are even worse than the present copyright laws (which will eventually put us behind the rest of the world) and Pro-IP (another Hollywood-sponsored anti-American piece of legislative garbage.

As an IP (intellectual property) attorney, I can see it; others often fail to understand how badly this sort of thing hurts America and jobs.
