Thank you Voice for helping to spread the word about the Deer Hollow Farm volunteer program. We are looking for adult volunteers to join us as School Year Docents. Classes for kindergarten-fourth graders are held Tues, Wed, and Thurs mornings, between 2 and 4 hours long. We are requesting a minimum commitment of participating in at least 3 classes per month.
An informational meeting will be help at the Mountain View Library, Community Room, on Monday, Jan 9 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Three training dates follow on Jan 23, Jan 30 and Feb 6.

I volunteered at Deer Hollow for many years up until my work schedule changed recently. It's really very rewarding and a lot of fun. The kids are great and the other docents are a fine bunch of like minded people caring about education and the environment. Give it a try, you won't regret it!
