Local grocery store hit in card-skimming scam

The Lucky grocery store in Mountain View is among 20 Bay Area stores in the Save Mart Supermarket chain where tampering was found at credit and debit card readers at self-checkout lanes.

This article is bogus. No customer accounts were compromised? The Chronicle says more than 500 customers have already been robbed and that number comes directly from Lucky corporate officials.

The only advice they are giving is for all customers to close their bank accounts before they get robbed too? I'm sure they could do a lot better than that if they really cared about their customers.

Personally, I am not shopping at Lucky ever again. Period. Bye bye.
