Teachers quick to accept new package

With both sides obviously aware that money is extremely tight this year, teachers and the Mountain View Whisman School District reached a quick and sensible agreement on a contract that for the first time will require teachers to pay a portion of their health care benefit.

Now how about an editorial on the exorbitant pay, benefits, and retirement packages that the city hand out?

Terms like a "quick and sensible agreement" and the asseration that employees begin paying a "fair share" are usually lost when addressing the Mountain View fiefdom controlled by City Hall.

Any news on when Duggan's statue will be completed for Eagle Park?
