Enforce keeping bicycles off the sidewalks. they don't belong on the sidewalks and I have come close many times of being hit by them.

At night, due to inadequate lighting, it is very difficult to see people at the three crosswalks on Castro Street near Starbucks and Amici's.

1. Prohibit right turns on red lights on streets with crosswalks.
2. Change signal timing so that right and left turns are not allowed when the crosswalk light is green.

The biggest danger to pedestrians are motor vehicles that are turning across a crosswalk. These are difficult for pedestrians to see and the drivers are busy looking for cross traffic and don't bother looking for pedestrians.

Have the police write tickets for failing to yeild to pedestrians, instead of just standing around yucking it up in the parking lot for Casablanca Market
