Someone who needs $695,000 per year to live on isn't qualified to manage anything. Get somebody in there who knows how to live frugally. Someone who knows how to live on $250,000 per year is infinitely more qualified to manage money.

This article was written taking only the opinion of one single Union member. This Union member is ALWAYS speaking out. No matter what the subject and how his fellow employees feel.

Do you know that the SEIU Union has fallen out of favor at El Camino Hospital? Where is that in this article? The decertification process has already begun. The Union will most likely be voted out of this hospital. The Union holds no value here. (I case the term is unfamiliar... Decertification = Union can no longer represent the employees, and must leave the hospital.)

Ask yourself this...How bad must this union be if the employees who are recieving benifit changes and facing uncertain finacial times are still willing to push the decertificationof this union?

I am not a fan of exeutive pay that is out of line...but this article misses the mark greatly as to the actual climate at the hospital amounst it's employees. Ask multiple people how they feel not just one person who clearly pushes SEIU's agenda!

I am aware of the decertification petition at the hospital, and as I understand from a source there is VERY strong support among SEIU members there (who, it should be noted, feel that they have been forced into joining the union, at least according to my source).

If you are not my source (I can't be sure, as you haven't included your name), I would really like to speak to you (and anyone else with strong opinions on the matter). I am planning on writing an article about the decertification for next week's paper.

If you are truly interested in the bad behavior of the SEIU, then I'd suggest reading and referencing the National Right to Work Legal Defense fund website. Monopoly bargaining by union leaders benefits no one except union bosses.
