I couldn't find a "PulsePoint" app in the Apple App store. (The search did turn up a nice CPR coaching/training refresher app called CPR Hero.) Google reveals that PulsePoint Foundation is headed by Richard Price, the chief of San Ramon Valley's fire department. The free app, rated 5 stars (with just 10 ratings so far), is called FIRE DEPARTMENT.

Not meaning to take the focus off El Camino's 50th anniversary: The story I mentioned above [Web Link paraphrased the San Ramon Fire Protection District Information Officer as follows: "Users from other areas can download the app, but would only receive CPR notifications if they lived in the San Ramon area." Having now downloaded the app, I see only incidents from the San Ramon valley. Very full-featured app, though. I wonder if it would be possible to expand the coverage area.

The El Camino Hospital is bringing the app coverage to their service area early next year. The were demoing the technology at their event to show what's coming. That was my understanding. The app awesome! Thank you ECH.
