Eshoo supports Occupy Wall Street protesters

U.S. Rep. Anna Eshoo, D-Menlo Park, supports the Occupy Wall Street protests and said she is "surprised people weren't out there sooner." In a telephone town hall meeting with constituents Thursday night, she called on the Obama administration to refinance all mortgages owned or guaranteed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Eshoo supporting the protesters is outrageous. She is one of the storng supporters of Silicon Valley companies which have offshored 10s thousands of jobs to India and made them easier to import cheap Indian workers at the expense of the younger generation here. And Eshoo supports illegal immgirants which is one of the major reason for the high unemployment rate among African Americans and legal Hispanics. It seems to Eshoo is playing both side to keep her power. Eshoo, Feinstein, Boxer,etc..are just corrupt politicians and as long as the voters are stupid , these politicians will keep fooling everyone, collect big fat paycheck and millions in pensions.

We went to Sunnyvale Costco Monday night with our stack of coupons. Waiting for shoppers to exit, I got rear-ended with a cart by an Indian guy. He apologized. Collecting our items, we almost got hit by another older, impatient Indian. He really could have used a huge sample of deodorant. My goodness, most of the shoppers are Indian! Instead of Hot Dogs, they should serve Masala Chaat. To be fair, I bumped into a nice Indian couple.
Growing up in Mountain View, I certainly had an interest in electronics. My parents were the complete opposite of those fortunate kids that attend Bullis Charter. When I was a kid, they said, "Get a job!"
The only position I would like to occupy at the moment is a decent paying job. My EDD benefits have run out. I hate being in this position.
So to the kids of abusive parents, write to all your representatives, tell them things are messed up and you want the same privileges rich kids have. Blog and document. In the future, you really don't want to keep hearing how the positions you applied for, were given to a more qualified candidate likely named, Ashok Ramanaanaan with an H1B visa, probably with embellished Perl, Python, Ruby, C, C++, Java and a dozen other coding language skills. Google H1B.
Someday, with my hair dyed blonde, hip baggy pants with underwear stitched letters, "Occupy this", I will be the most qualified candidate.

One of the GREAT strengths of our Mountain View community is its DIVERSITY. I can't tell you in words how proud I feel, and how wonderfully AMERICAN I feel --- listening to all of the languages spoken, and seeing all the colors represented on the streets of my community.

So I am shocked and ashamed when I read such obviously racist remarks on this page.

I currently make less than 10% of what I made in the year 2000: I am chronically, almost catastrophically, under-employed. I have been a Mountain View resident for decades, and I have lived within 15 miles of here my entire life. My ethnic background is Irish and Swedish, but I don't blame illegal immigrants or people of COLOR for my economic situation!!! Putting it politely, that's just NOT very smart thinking.

Those illegal immigrants and/or people of color . . .
. . . didn't export our jobs.
. . . didn't cheat investors and rob our government.
. . . didn't increase top executive salaries to 380 TIMES the average workers pay (up from 35 times in 1960).

It is Big Business that has forgotten what it means to be AMERICAN. It seems that they don't care if our entire country becomes one VAST slum (whatever the color) as long as they are at the top of the pile.

It is Big Business (and Congress) that needs to be reminded that we are INTENDED to be a nation of laws constituted to benefit the people.

Below is the second paragraph of the US Declaration of Independence. Thomas Jefferson describes the situation PERFECTLY: the what, the why, and the what-to-do-about-it.
It is a Great piece of writing.
You should read it.
As an American, you should KNOW it.
As an American, you should UNDERSTAND it.

- - - because it is what Occupy Wall Street is all about, and I'm sure it is also why Representative Eshoo is supporting their efforts.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. No, but they are:

-taking American jobs.

-cheating the legal system and robbing government welfare programs on the backs of taxpayers.

-helping business owners and executives pocket way more in profits.

And can you describe just how diversity makes us stronger? Do you mean diversity like in the industrial power houses of Germany and Japan? Or in up and coming industrial power houses like India and China?

And the declaration of Independence was written while slave owning was legal and while many of the signers of the document owned slaves.

Reconcile that, before you fall for the romanticized view of the document.

WONDERFUL !!! THANK YOU ANNA. Its about time that our people at the Federal level take a stand with regard to elements in this society that are so corrupting. This CORRUPTION is isomorphic from the Federal level down to Alice in Wonderland Tea Party "citizens" that are MAD as a Hatter. And that's right, Mountain View isn't all that happy a place once the smily faces are removed.

Thank you again Anna Eshoo, it takes real courage to stand up to the forces of greed and selfishness.

Now we just need a list of all that corporations that donate to and lobby Eshoo and the salaries of their CEOs. I'm sure she'll be very forth coming with all the reasons why she values their support and input.

She is corrupt. Sorry, I really don't care if she supports the movement or not. The 99% will not be stopped until all corrupt politicians are removed from office.

She voted for the bailout.

It's not whether she support the occupy movement. It is whether she back hers words with action.
