Hi you all,

I really do hope that you will join us this Friday at 2 pm on the City Hall front plaza. I have also contacted Assemblyman Rich Gordon's office, as well as several newspapers. Dependng on the outcome of Friday's meeting, I am hoping to schedule an appointment with Rich's office ASAP.

For far too many years, the Palo Alto City Council has had a terrible reputation; making a number of extremely unpopular decisions, creating eyesores on El Camino, and ultimately ignoring the public. This Friday, September 9th, will be an opportunity to sit down with the mayor; to have a real heart-to-heart conversation about the issues and public concerns. To hopefully start the process of building a good city. A good Palo Alto.

The issue concernig Palo Alto Bowl is one of discrimination; not outright, but institutional. It is the biggest "local" discrimination case in my lifetime. "By far." Or at least that I can remember.

Thank you all so much for what you do.

Oh ... and remember: look for a blue walker and a guy with black-rimmed glasses, and that's me. :)

Hope to see you Friday.
